Grain Carriers' House
The house for grain carriers and sack carriers was built in 1634. The building with mannerist elements features a pitched roof and a side gable that overhangs the canal. The neck gable is fitted with claw stones with volutes. The freely accessible Grain Carriers' House tells in a permanent exhibition the story of measuring, weighing and hauling, and of the development of agriculture in Noardwest-Fryslân.
